Student organizations based on interests, culture, and areas of study engage in a variety of activities throughout the year. Some require dues or have requirements for membership; others are open to anybody and everybody. To learn more about clubs, or to find out about starting your own student organization, contact Office of Student Affairs at extension 117.

 

The following are the newly-accredited and re-accredited campus organizations:


         A fraternity and sorority group exclusive for Maritime students with          the aim of inculcating importance of brotherhood and sisterhood          responsive not just to the need of oneself but of the organizations,          to instill the importance of academic distinction in consonance to the          standard set by the marine profession, develop a service oriented -          God-fearing character, discover one's talent, skills leadership          potentials and strengthen one's self-esteem.

         A fraternity and sorority group which aims to foster lifetime          brotherhood and sisterhood and unity among members, promote the          welfare of the members, build noble leaders and better citizen and          work for the greater involvement in the affairs of the school as well          as in the community.

          An organization whose membership is open to students who are           member of good standing of the Iglesia ni Cristo. Activities of the           organization are confined within the context of brotherhood among           all Iglesia ni Cristo students.

         The society is composed of all students enrolled in BS Criminology          with the goal to establish a healthy training ground for dynamic and          responsible leaders. The organization also aims to provide          investigative skills and criminalistic training program that will          prepare Criminology Students to become effective and efficient law          enforcers.

         An organization of students enrolled in the College of Education          which aims to provide each member and opportunity for          involvement in activities that will promote academic, cultural, social          and spiritual growth of its members.

         A group composed of all English majors and English concentration          students of the College of Education. The organization is committed          to develop English Literacy among students of West Negros          University and is also committed to promote the use of English          Language, as a means of communication in the school campus in          order to achieve competence.

         A group of academic scholars, Dean’s Lister, valedictorians,          salutatorians, students with honors from the College of Education          which aims to provide the scholars pertinent guidelines in          maintaining their scholarship and providing a venue to improve the          knowledge and awareness on the different discipline of Education.

         The society shall be the representative organization of all Hospitality          major students. One of the objectives is to initiate and carry out          activities which would redound to the awareness and improvement          of its members regarding hospitality trends in our country and the          world.

        The organization aims to help its members to develop unity,         patriotism and nationalism.

         Open to all students enrolled in the College of Information and          Communication Technology which aims to cultivate cordial          coordination and promote harmonious cooperation among its          members.

         The organization is composed of Electrical Engineering students (2nd          year to 5th year) which main objective is to serve the Wesnecan          community through the organization’s projects, community outreach,          and seminars/trainings related to the field of electrical engineering          to broaden the knowledge of each member.

         An organization composed of students major in Financial          Management. The main objective is to develop camaraderie among          its members.

         Membership is open to all Accountancy students. The organization          serves as a medium of expression of our ideals and inspiration to          promote and protect the welfare and intellect of the accounting          students.

         This is an organization of WNU students assistants which aim to          develop unity, rapport and deep respect among its members. The          society also creates an avenue in developing and discovering the          hidden skills, talents, strengths and potentials of the members.

        Open to all bonafide students enrolled in the College of Business and         Management major in Marketing Management. The club aimed to         keep its members cognizant and informed on current practices and         development in the field of Marketing and Business management.

         An organization of 2nd year to 5th year Civil Engineering students          who provide skills, training and community development for every          member to become responsible leaders and future engineers.

         The organization helps its members to develop their skills, talents          and potentials in sports and cultural areas.

          An organization of all BS Psychology students which aims to provide           its members with inputs related to their field of study.

          An organization of students from Integrated School who works with           the Philippine National Red Cross – Bacolod City Chapter with the           purpose of developing the youth the spirit of humanitarianism and           social service by giving them opportunities to participate in relevant           Red Cross activities. Also serve as the First Aid Team during school           activities.

          The objective of the organization is to train the students in medical           and rescue services and to instill Christian attitude and preservation           of human life.

          A Christian organization open to all students which aims to develop           camaraderie among its members through Christianity.

          Aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of student nurses,           student midwives, student health aide, mold each member to be           responsible in every dealings in a proactive manner and to be           vigilant in everything that each member do.
