Lucellie P. Santibañez
Student - B.S. Psychology

MY STORY

I practically grew up at West Negros University and without the education that my alma mater has provided me with, I will not be the person who I am today.

I am a daughter of Ma. Leny P.Santibañez, a faculty of West Negros University and Terrence O. Santibañez, a Computer Software Developer both of whom are formerly Student Assistants (SA’s) of this very institution during their college.

Since elementary, my siblings and I were privileged to benefit from ward and academic scholarship grants offered by WNU. Growing up as individuals, our alma mater has not only enriched us in academics but also in the field of journalism, leadership, culture and arts, sports and above all, spiritual and values formation.

In my twelve years of being in this institution, West Negros University has continually inspired me in how it hones the skills and talents of athletic and cultural groups like the Ka-anyag Pilipinas Dance Company, Glee Club, Kalingaw, Rondalla and the University Band. Through this, each student is encouraged to seek and develop their own respective talents.

Currently, I am taking up BS Psychology, a pre-med course under the College of Arts and Sciences (and a school publication editor) continually enjoying scholarship grants provided by the school.

I owe WNU the learning experiences that I gained, the opportunities given and achievements that made me grow as a person.
