Uplift the economic and social
condition of the families of
Baptist/ Evangelical ministers
providing educational opportunities
for them and their children. And
provide opportunity for training
that will increase and strengthen
involvement in activities that will
promote physical and spiritual
fitness among grantees.
The grantee shall enjoy FREE
registration, Basic miscellaneous
fees, and 18 units on tuition fees
per semester in the curriculum
he/she enrolled in. The scholarship
is good only for one degree-course
and within the prescribed number of
years that the degree/course is to
be completed. This is good only for
one child member of a minister's
family.
Qualifications:
Only legitimate children of
Evangelical/ Baptist Ministers, who
are active in the work of
the ministry and acknowledged
Ministers/Workers of the
church at the time of application
are qualified recipients
of the scholarship.
The applicant is financially in need
of the assistance.
The applicant must have the desire
to improve his/her academic
qualification and show
interest to study.
The applicant must have a high
school average of not lower than
85% if a college entrant
or its equivalent if a continuing
college student.
The applicant must be a Filipino
citizen.
The following procedure should be
observed by the applicant for the
screening and selection:
Submission of Student Information
Sheet
Submission of authenticated Birth
Certificate
Take and pass the Qualifying Exams
Interview with the Committee
The Campus Ministry Coordinator in
coordination with the Scholarship
Head should serve as the Screening
Committee.
Results of selection
and screening process shall be
published in the Scholarship Office
at least
two weeks before the opening of
classes.
Duties / Responsibilities :
1. Grantees are
expected to live exemplary lives in
and outside the campus.
They should act as model for
exemplary behavior to all
other students.
2. They are
required to participate in
worthwhile activities that would
contribute to achieving
Scripture-based Christian living as
set forth in II Tim
2:15. They should be involved in
activities designed to
promote good moral, spiritual,
social vales and
intellectual
development (e.g. being active
during Christ Emphasis
Month, taking part in
Bible Classes and in the act of
spreading the gospel
within the campus, etc.)
3. They should be
willing and ready to render service
to the school when so
required, such as acting as
information guides during
enrollment period, and
the like.
4. They must
render office work at the Campus
Ministry Office or any
other office work at the Campus
Ministry Office or any other
offices in the
institution at least twenty (20)
hours per week.
5. They are
required to actively participate in
all activities of the
Campus Ministry such as
meetings, fellowships, Christ
Emphasis Month
activities among others but should
avoid getting involved in
school politics as the
same will hamper involvement in the
activities of the
Campus Ministry.
