The grant is from kindergarten to
one Baccalaureate Degree only. The
grantee must be unmarried, not be
more than 21 years old, and totally
dependent upon the parent who is a
member of the faculty and staff of
WNU for support. For wards taking up
Maritime courses, he/she must not
exceed 23 years old at the time of
completion of the academic or OJT
program as prescribed by the
curriculum.
Continued enjoyment of benefits by
said children either in the
elementary, high school, or college
in case of death, retirement or
permanent incapacity to work of
teaching and/or non-teaching
personnel. In this case, such
benefits shall be enjoyed by the
children only until they graduate in
the designated level or finish the
course they were enrolled in at the
time of death, retirement or
permanent incapacitation of the
parent.
Benefits:
Free tuition and sixty five percent
(65%) discount on
miscellaneous fees for
unmarried, legitimate, legally
adopted and recognized
natural children of permanent
full-time teaching and
non-teaching personnel.
Fifty percent (50%) discount on
tuition fees for similar children
of part-time teachers
who have rendered four (4)
consecutive semesters
and at least with an average of 12
unit teaching loads
per semester.
He/she must be a regular student or
has taken at most one
subject in advance.
He/she must have a grade of 2.5
(85%) or better for the
preceding semester.
He/she must keep and maintain a high
level of moral character
and must not be
subject to any proven complaints
involving disciplinary
action or moral turpitude on pain of
losing the privileges
and status.
