The college invests millions in its students each year to provide assistance where it may be needed. Resources may include institutional scholarships and financial aid, and other outside programs. The West Negros University Financial Aid Office is dedicated to helping make WNU a realistic financial option for all qualified students and families.


Grantees are enjoined to keep and maintain a high level of moral character. They must not be subject to any proven complaints involving disciplinary action or moral turpitude on pain of losing the privileges and status. The University President, through the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee may suspend or cancel the scholarship of the grantee if he/she had committed acts inimical to the interest of the school and the community.

 

High School Valedictorians and Salutatorians

Recognized high school with at least fifty graduates can avail of FREE Registration, Basic Miscellaneous, Laboratory fees (for 1 Lab. Subject per semester) and Tuition fee based on the subjects prescribed in the curriculum they are enrolled for one school year excluding summer.

First, Second & Third Honorable Mention

Recognized high school with an average grade of not less than 90% with at least one hundred graduates can avail of the following discounts on Registration, Miscellaneous, Laboratory fees (for 1 Lab. Subject per semester) and tuition fees based on the subjects prescribed in the curriculum he/she is enrolled for one school year excluding summer.

First Honorable Mention             -    50% Discount
Second Honorable Mention         -    35% Discount
Third Honorable Mention            -    25% Discount

Top 10 graduates of the WNU Integrated School (High School Level)
Can avail of the following discounts on Registration, Basic Miscellaneous, Laboratory Fees (for 1 Lab. Subject per semester) and Tuition Fees based on the subjects prescribed in the curriculum he/she is enrolled for one school year excluding summer:

Valedictorian and Salutatorian             -    100% Discount
Third to Fifth in Rank                          -      80% Discount
Sixth to Tenth in Rank                        -      50% Discount

Institutional Scholar

Student who obtained an average grade of 1.5 (95%) better with no grade lower than 3.0 (80%) in any subject during the preceding semester, provided the subjects and units taken are those prescribed in the curriculum he had enrolled in can avail of FREE Tuition, Registration, Miscellaneous and Laboratory fees (for 1 Lab. subject) for one semester.


College Scholar
Student who obtained an average grade of 1.9 (91%) or better but lower than 1.5 (95%) with no grade lover than 3.0 (80%) in any subject during the preceding semester, provided the subjects and units taken are those prescribed in the curriculum he had enrolled in can avail of 50%) scholarship on Tuition, Registration, Miscellaneous fees for one semester.

 

High School Scholar
An applicant must present necessary documents before the final interview for screening by the I.S. Principal: Qualifying Exam Result (administered by the College Psychometrician), Certification from the Principal, Report Card/ Form 138, Birth Certificate (in SECPA)

      Elementary Salutatorian/ Second Honors     -      50% Discount

      Elementary Honor Students                        -      50% Discount on
