A summa cum laude from West Negros
University was qualified as one of
the 2013 Ten Outstanding Students of
the Philippines (TOSP)-Western
Visayas Finals.
Lucellie P. Santibañez, a BS
Psychology graduate, was chosen as
one of the 20 regional finalists by
the TOSP Regional Screening
Committee after a rigorous and
comprehensive selection process on
March 23, 2013 at the University of
Iloilo-PHINMA.
TOSP Regional Executive Committee
led by Ma. Geraldine Duronio-TOSP
2009 lauded West Negros University
for having educated, trained and
formed an outstanding student in
Santibañez.
Santibañez was the former
editor-in-chief of the university
publication and an active student
leader. She is also a recipient of
the Ayala Young Leaders Award (AYLC)
in 2012 and a consistent honor
student.
Santibañez was a consistent academic
scholar, an active student leader
and a proactive student journalist.
The 20 regional finalists will
convene in Roxas City, Capiz for the
Regional Formation Program on April
20-26, 2013. The program includes
formation activities, community
immersion, regional interviews and
cultural tour, among others.
