Sixty students enrolled in the
internship program of the College of
Business and Management (CBM)
attended a seminar series on
“Preparing for the Real World” held
Saturday, July 14, 2012 at West
Negros University’s HM Laboratory.
CBM Internship supervisor, Dr.
Jayjay M. Pisueña stated that the
program is aimed to develop and
enhance further the knowledge,
skills and attitudes of students
relevant to the workplace or
profession; to enable the students
to relate concepts learned from the
classroom into the workplace and to
be able to develop their
self-confidence.
Topics during the seminar were;
personality development, office
etiquette in the workplace, customer
relations services and building
human relations in the office, among
others. They were discussed by Paul
Nava , Branch Sales Trainor of Avon
Cosmetics; Donalyn G. Lastima, WNU
