He further urges the students to
feel at home in the Wesnecan
community and make this educational
experience something to be proud of.
Meanwhile, Hon. Jose Carlos Lacson,
Vice-Chair, WNU Board of Regents
said that the time has come for West
Negros University to extend a hand
of partnership beyond our national
borders and begin to make its
distinctive contributions in the
search for relevant educational
endeavors and lasting friendship
within the global community.
“I look forward to seeing more
Korean students and scholars on
campus in the near future with the
hope that we can learn from each
other and grow together as we
endeavor to bring WNU to the
forefront of the never-ending search
for institutional relevance,” Lacson
added.
Myoung Ok Cho,
on the other hand, expressed in
behalf of the Korean group that they
are honored for the trust and
confidence of WNU most especially
that the program will surely help
them better. She is also happy of
the warm gesture of the Wesnecans as
they welcomed them to the fold and
now they can officially say “We’re
Wesencans, We Can!”*
