Another feat was claimed by West Negros University after
one of its students was chosen to be among the eighty
delegates in the 12th Ayala Young Leaders
Congress (AYLC) 2010 to be held at the San Miguel
Corporation – Management Training Center in Alfonso,
Cavite.
Jemima M. Tubal, a third year Bachelor of Secondary
Education major in English succeeded over 610 students
from one hundred thirty-three qualified colleges and
universities nationwide in the annual congress. It aims
to enhance the effectiveness of student leadership and
involvement in school, community and other
organizations.

Philip Orbeta, Program Director of the Ayala Young
Leaders Program in his letter addressed to Dr. Suzette
Lilian Agustin, University President stated that Tubal
was chosen after careful and lengthy deliberations by
interview panels and program among the 150 participants
for final screening.
Tubal said that she felt privileged to be counted as one
of the delegates in the prestigious event. She advised
her fellow students to explore the limitless
possibilities within themselves to become an outstanding
youth leader and continue building the foundations of
our country for the next generation.
She
also underscore that everything was made possible by
prayer and by being honest to the interviewer showing
them one’s true self.*
