donated cash for the community
extension program of West Negros
University to signify their support
to its various activities.
“The Ambassadors”, a
group of evangelist from Canada, had
donated P38,705 to WNU through
Victoria Demonteverde, Associate
Director of the Research Development
and Extension Office.
Report from Research
disclosed that the money was used to
finance livelihood projects for
non-working mothers in Puroks
Luhod-Luhod, Canaan and Tonggoy,
Brgy. Mandalagan, Bacolod City and
church renovation of the Marikudo
Tribe, a monitory group in Isabela
town, and another Church renovation
in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The missionaries visited
West Negros University to share
their personal testimonies on God’s
work in their lives and to proclaim
God’s everlasting love for mankind.
The team included
evangelist Jim Bruce and his wife
Zena, Irene Haupt, Raymonde Boucher,
Ed Park, Ted Harper, and couple
Lynette and Richard Guthrie.
