Financial Support Programs are available to all Wesnecans and would-be Wesnecans. These programs are primarily granted to assist needy students in funding their college education. West Negros University believes that a student should not be denied an opportunity to receive quality education simply because of funding concerns. Need and effectiveness of the desired financial support program are therefore the major points considered in selecting students to avail financial aid.

We are sensitive to the current economic situation and have made available a number of financial support programs to customize and help make this outstanding private education affordable for families of all income levels.

For Active / Officially-Enrolled Students:

Scholarship and Grants

Scholarship programs and grants can be availed for officially- enrolled students and incoming Wesnecans who excel in academics, sports and cultural fields. Scholarship for student assistants can also be availed. Visit Office of the Student Affairs for assistance.

Paylite System (PLS)

Reduce your monthly examination assessment by paying any amount, anytime before the next exam. It’s easy and flexible depending on your available budget. No need for participation requirements under the PLS Program. You can start now!

Study Now Pay Lighter Program (SNPaL)

Instead of semestral budgeting, program educational cost every school year until graduation by spreading and making light payments throughout the year depending on your regular income frequency such as daily, weekly or semi-monthly under SNPaL Program. Payments may be made over-the-counter or can be through the services of a collector.

WNU-VISA Card

Settle fully semestral assessment through WNU VISA CARD and avail of its installment features at very affordable and light terms payable for a maximum term of 36 months. Application forms will be available at Finance Department soon.

Customized Payment Arrangement (CPA)

Unforeseen emergencies and cyclical income sources will no longer be barriers to meet and pay monthly assessment to secure examination permit. Payment customization can be arranged through promissory note as to schedule of payments.

Education Students Organization

An organization of students enrolled in the College of Education which aims to provide each member and opportunity for involvement in activities that will promote academic, cultural, social and spiritual growth of its members.

Educational Loan Facility (ELF)

Educational loan facilities are available with tie-up institutions for those Wesnecans who are constrained with unexpected events that have affected their budget for monthly settlement of assessments. Available to parents/ guardians/educational fund providers whose income frequency is monthly. Interest cost is very affordable at easy payment terms, simple documentation requirements and no collateral. Visit Finance Department or Financial Aid Office for endorsement and assistance.

For In-active / Incoming Wesnecans:

Student Old Account Relief Program (SOAR)

Reduce your old accounts by participating in the relief program and avail of discounts ranging from 3% to 40% depending on your old account age. Continue schooling, finish your desired degree and ensure brighter future by arranging payment based on your affordable budget through light payment scheme. Payments can be made over-the-counter or through a collector.

Save-a-friend, Save-a-future Program (SAF2)

“Earning by helping”. Reduce your cost of education through incentive credit by reaching out inactive students (dropouts). Assist them in participating under SAF2 Program, arrange payment of their old accounts on affordable and lighter terms and be credited with incentives to reduce your total semestral assessments. Help now and earn incentive credits. They may be your relatives, friends or neighbors.

Ensure Now Study Later (ENSURE)

Lighten the college educational burdens of your child in high school or even in elementary level. ‘ENSURE’ is an assuring facility that when your child reaches college level, you have sufficient funds accumulated on lighter terms and arrangements. ENSURE payments can be made over-the-counter or through a collector depending on your preferred payment frequency and affordable amount. Visit Finance Department or Financial Aid Office to participate.

Educational Fund-Enhancing Programs

Early Bird Credit Program (EBC)

For incoming Wesnecans, enroll early even before the start of enrollment period) and be credited with P500 incentive. Get your EBC coupon at the Dean’s Office of your preferred course or at the Finance Department to ensure your incentive credit.

K-Credit Program (KCP)

Avail of “K” Credit incentive to reduce your semestral cost of education by inviting new students to become Wesnecans. Each new student will entitle you for an incentive credit of P500. Visit Finance Department or Financial Aid Office to secure forms for participation and deadline for solicitation.
