VISION STATEMENT
By 2012 and beyond, the College of Business and Management of West Negros University will be the leading provider of excellent business education which is global in quality.


MISSION STATEMENT
The College of Business and Management is committed to produce quality graduates equipped with globally competitive knowledge and skills who can give a sense of morality to the world of business.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

  • To provide quality education and business professionals who are highly competitive and responsive to the needs and goals of the community and of the country imbued with Christian values;
  • To produce healthy, morally, and spiritually upright citizens with desirable and acceptable personal and social values;
  • To inculcate and foster the appropriate and relevant attitudes, skills and knowledge to become productive, concerned and involved members of society;
  • To help discover and develop the individuals intellectual and creative powers, business leadership potential and self-esteem;
  • To educate the individual in a wholesome atmosphere by responsible academic freedom, mutual respect, cooperation and WESNECAN image.


SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  • To strengthen research capabilities of faculty and students that would be beneficial to the college and community;
  • Develop students appreciation of the dignity of labor and the importance of conscientious, honest, and productive endeavor;
  • Produce well-trained and skilled Bank Analyst, Marketers, Human Resource practitioners, Operation managers, Economic specialist, Hoteliers Restaurant managers, Operators, Accountants, Office Administrators, imbued with Christian and social values;
  • To strengthen and increase linkages with local, regional, national and international organizations;
  • To intensify participation of faculty, staff, students and alumni in the community extension programs;
  • To strongly support training for faculty, and staff in the use of technology and information resources to enhance teaching and learning, and to improve productivity and service quality;
  • To recruit and retain faculty and staff with outstanding professional qualifications and commitment to advance the university vision, mission and objectives;
  • To attract incoming students with potential of becoming competent leaders endowed with desirable and acceptable personal and social values;
  • To regularly revise/enhance and update curricula to meet the global demands of the industry.
